A lot of individuals enjoy spending time at the beach gathering shells and rocks. However, Anna Chan, a New York-based artist, elevated this game. Chan, a jewelry maker by trade, ceased work when the Covid-19 outbreak struck. She, therefore, passed the time by going to the beach with her 10-year-old daughter. They then began to gather seashells and create animal-inspired sculptures out of them.
Chan took care to match the characteristics of each species to its appropriate shell. Certainly, it appeared to be a piece of art. Chan's first creation from sand and shells was a turtle. They were able to create a variety of characters in their seashell art by combining various seashells thanks to her talent and her daughter's imagination. As a result, they have gained popularity on Instagram for creating exquisite works of art using various seashell species.
What began as a lockdown activity for Chan has evolved into one of his primary artistic objectives. "The seashells I uncover inspire me to create. I kept moon snails in a bucket for several months. When I figured out how to employ the snails without being overly artificial, they turned into sheep. Chan uttered.
