These days, it's challenging to tell the difference between real and phony. The majority of images we see on social media or in magazines have been modified in some way using photo editing software, eventually distorting our vision of reality and instilling unreachable beauty ideals in us. Some people disagree with this and want others to know the reality.
Together with seasoned photographer Karizza, two stunning plus-size models, Diana Sirokai and Callie Thorpe demonstrated how the media goes beyond simple photo alteration. Diana and Callie were photographed by Karizza, who then significantly altered their body photographs in Photoshop.
Diana shared a picture on Instagram with the following caption: "I have to say we look Amazing both ways. “To show you how magazines and the media elevate editing was the purpose of this. The celebs and models in those photoshopped pictures hardly even resemble themselves. It's time to bring the real back since the world we live in is so phony. Own your identity and kill it!
