Most people are aware of the Dry July initiative, which encourages participants to refrain from alcohol for the entire month of July in order to raise money and help cancer sufferers. A radiation therapist from Sydney, Australia offered a creative approach.
One of Mark Udovitch's patients mentioned how uneasy she felt after losing her hair, which prompted Mark to make the choice to let his hair grow long in order to donate it to the fight against cancer. The therapist will trim off the two and a half years of growth he's added to his locks on Friday, July 29. To raise awareness, Udovitch made the decision to replicate several celebrity pictures with his dark brown hair. Although their goal is $100k, the campaign has only raised $20k so far. You could aid them in achieving that.
