In order to produce unique and engaging images, Artist Romain Joly adds realistic things to his sketches. In 2020, he started making these illustrations while he experimented during his COVID confinement. So DeMilked spoke with the artist, who said that the lockdown was when he created his first sketches. I still do it today because I liked it, he said.
"I pay close attention to my surroundings in order to locate inspiration," the illustrator added. I also try to carve out time to allow my mind to wander and ponder, for example, by taking a walk. To avoid forgetting my ideas, I constantly study the work of other artists and write them down in a notebook. The drawing must be finished next, so I experiment with a variety of techniques until I find one that I like. Additionally, I make an effort to take attractive images.

Romain elaborated on his sources of inspiration, saying, "I like experimenting with shapes and ideas because it challenges my different worldview. Additionally, I received positive feedback early on; people grinned or even laughed when they saw my drawings. This encouraged me to keep going and get better.
The ability of a simple, everyday object to be changed into something "cool" with just a few pencil strokes is another quality of this art that appeals to me. Almost like MacGyver creating incredible stuff from nothing! There's almost a supernatural quality about it, I believe," he continued (laughing).
The artist said, "You have to find the idea before you can do a draw. It is really haphazard. for example, When I brush my teeth, a thought may strike me out of the blue. It takes more work, but I'm not sure why. I've finally realized that I have to handle it!
