Amazing Osprey Mid-Hunt Dive Captured by Photographer.

Ospreys hunt by plunging to the water's surface from a height of 30 to 100 feet. They have grasping pads on their feet, which they use to grab fish out of the water and carry them over great distances. To minimize wind resistance, ospreys will fly with the fish facing headfirst.

Photographer Chen Chengguang (also known as Joinus12345) from Taiwan is well-known for he breathtaking bird images. Beautiful pictures of numerous birds in motion may be found on his Instagram page. His paintings are all amazing, but his chronophotographs of ospreys engaged in active hunting are particularly impressive.

Chronophotography dates back to the Victorian era in the middle of the 19th century. Using this method, motion is displayed by combining several frames that were taken at different points in a movement. It is the forerunner of animation and cinematography and was initially created so that scientists could examine moving objects.
